About Rachel
Rachel Kang is a senior broadcast journalism student in the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. She was an ice hockey player for both club and university organizations. As a female athlete who has played for all-male teams, Rachel hopes to continue to break barriers for POC women in the hockey and sports world. Rachel hopes to merge her passion for the game with her broadcast and social media skills to pursue a media career with the NHL.
In addition to ice hockey, Rachel’s other interests include photography and fashion blogging. In 2020, Rachel created a fashion blogging Instagram platform where she shares her fashion and lifestyle favorites @r.achelkang.
